On July 1st, 2011, we opened So Dear 2 My Heart “on the square” in Corydon, Indiana right next door to Magdalena’s Restaurant and across the street from the state’s first capital (prior to its move to Indianapolis in 1825). It’s a thriving tourist destination with a Bed and Breakfast, Friday night concerts “on the square”, a community theater, parades and re-enactments. (There were two reenactments on the first two weekends we were open, one of the signing of the state constitution, and one of Morgan’s Raid when Col. John Hunt Morgan captured the town from the home guard; all right in front of our shop.)
